Because i had some issues with arch based distros when I tried to install them on my laptop (Lenovo ideapad 700). Also I had troubles with bumblebee and Xorg in Ubuntu 16.06.3 LTS
I actually use Wayland, and gnome 3
I have a question
I want to always use my Nvidia 950M instead Intel HD graphics
But I dont know how to change this
All documentation I see, is about xorg11, but in Wayland...

I dont have installed non free drivers
I use Noveau, so maybe I can get a better Wayland support?

Only intel gpus and amd.
echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
If that shows wayland on nvidia and you have high cpu load idle consider switching to x for now.

Use virt-manager with kvm or gnome boxes if you dont need any advanced features.

Almost 5.26 version

Why, it wotks fine with all the distros that I have
Because you taint your kernel, introduce random bugs, load a kernel addition that can crash your oc in exciting and funky ways especially with the fast update rate of fedoras kernels and because kvm is integrated into the freaking kernel so you get more feature updates, faster, more stable and without pesky kernel modules.
And basically if you report a bug with a tainted kernel you voided all right to be taken serious.

Random question, is anyone else using a Telegram desktop client unable to scroll past a certain number of conversations? My scrolling ends at conversations from yesterday, but I know I have more from before that.

That looks like a problem with internet connectivity

Thanks
Using KVM is a little nicer and is a more "native" way to do virtualization, but it's a little more confusing to get working.

Yup, I hope it might get fixed
But don't have high hopes on that
So people, don't store sensitive data or things you might need later on in the TG cloud

one of the things I like about telegram is because it can be easily installed on linux and on android. unlike other messaging apps
so we can fix and improve some things that are still lacking

Anxhelo
12.09.2017
20:04:47
Because some of them might have added advantages
Like grouping, pinning, ability to hide the seen tick (not sure if it works)

Because, although we can't see the messages, they are still archived in their servers

Its a headache for web development, the dev cant port many, many security fixes that firefox has seen since and half of those he can never port without first pulling in the new things mozilla has made since then.
Its a feature, security and testing clusterfuck from such an old firefox that you are off significantly worse than using even unknown browsers.
(And it doesnt even support things like promises, making it useless on any modern webpage)

unfortunately it seems that this card has a lot of problems running with linux... debian, ubuntu, mint, fedora, arch... there are reports from a lot of distros having problems with it... and from a long time...
This is the most relevant (updated) info that I could find https://github.com/lwfinger/rtlwifi_new/issues/235
(I don't know to much about this... just google a little bit)
@SamuraiLeon my previus comment was about your network card
