Hi, is it possible to put a custom status associated with systemd services?

print a custom status from my service
I have found that systemd does not support custom status
ExecStatus = ... does not exist xd

Tobias?
06.09.2017
07:50:50
Yes. A service is either up or down or fail. For everything else you have the log.
Just out of interest, what did you want to print and for which tool?

Cristobo

I'm doing a service for a script that in turn raises other programs for a university project. I have done a status command to verify that the modules are running correctly or not
I'll call "script status" when I want to know the status of the modules then

does it control the boot process?

Cristobo
06.09.2017
08:55:17
Because I want to automate the installation, so that in systemd is done in this concrete way but in others not. The script invoked is the common node

If check systemd, I put the service that invokes the script

I want to minimize the particularities of each type of boot. Simple services that invoke a script. If I change my modules, I have to make changes to the services too in another way

This is currently happening for many fedoraproject domains - on some wildcard is answered and some servers dont give any valid ip back.

I keep receiving a notification that says "`The Window Switcher installation is broken, resources are missing.
Contact your distribution about this.`"
I found a bug report of back in 2015 where people were using fedora 22, but it ended up closed by EOL... I Found nothing related to F26
