what I like in perl is it high capability of manipulating data structures, in one second you can create a hash of an array of a hash of an array of ... of .... lol

I don't think so dude, for many books written about AI,ML suggest most python otherwise C++, R etc
I don't disagree, just saying at least perl is having its own place, it's great when it comes to admin stuffs.

for two weeks I've been patching dwm, I think it's complete for now :)

Maybe a dotfiles repo so people can try it out would be cool
Yep exactly, I've been preparing everything, have a lot of reposs. I wanted to present them as clean as possible.
Kueppo
one repos for configs.h a.k.a dotfiles and the rest of the patched softwares so that dudes can customize it on their own.

I once tried that and I gave up the same day, though they say it's made for beginners, for me it's kinda difficult to use.

ɴꙩᴍᴀᴅ
Eliab/Andi

hmm I never tried this way. I used the steps found here at the handbook with rpm2cpio https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/handbook/linuxemu/
ɴꙩᴍᴀᴅ
Yea I read this Yesterday 😂😂
I have to say that following the steps almost worked for me. My problem was with the CentOS packages that are in 7. I managed to get some of the newer packages from CentOS 8 but the program needed newer mesa drivers and at that point I gave up hehe

Bspwm is configured by a shell script calling bspc commands afaik. It wilk work the same anywhere bspwm is ported to. Sxhkd's config file too, it relates to the software.

Yes that is clear . Now just have to find a bar , NOMAD gave config for lemonbar . Will try today everything and see how it works .

There's been an interesting amount of people coming here from Arch Linux lately. Is there a special trending now on FreeBSD being the new cool toy around the internet?
K
Not really
K
I’ve seen an interest spike when rhel killed CentOS though

Because you already have to have a grip on UNIX in general to even understand freebsd and use it It doesn't have to be arch, like I come from gentoo, but it has to be a power-user distro
K
Basically made it a rolling release/testing version of RHEL. Between RHEL and Fedora
K
It used to be a RHEL clone

Agreed. But these days it's like a lot of users just go for Arch because of the memes or the trendy topics, and not because of the willing to learn.
