The file descriptor isnt a forced endpoint, its usual to put the changed file somewhere else and leave the old content die trough inode wipe.

And truthfully, I am not an expert either, I just know random bits of knowledge here and there. Eventually I want to migrate to an Atomic Workstation, just so I can start learning (like I did with Fedora for Linux ages ago)
