I think matrix might be able to work on OpenBSD with voice/video but you need to check wether your webcam is supported on OpenBSD or not

<b>myfreeweb:</b> yeah, slightly outdated in terms of graphics drivers though. tl;dr for modern Intel iGPU or AMD Radeon: install FreeBSD 12-CURRENT, build graphics/drm-next-kmod, configure it to load as instructed by post-install message, for Radeons also set hw.syscons.disable=1 in /boot/loader.conf (temporary workaround for a bug), use the modesetting DDX (driver) in Xorg (or amdgpu for Radeons, similar but avoids diagonal screen tearing)
