FreeBSD/NetBSD might work with telegram

On my side I have OpenBSD, customers are mostly on macOS (Telegram, FaceTime)

You might be able to fake out Skype’s web client, using a switcher, to make the website think it’s Edge. I don’t know. The old User Agent Switcher used to work under Linux for crap like that.

We can fake the full HTTP ref if essential, but Skype Web may use some Edge specific functions…

<b>myfreeweb:</b> yeah, slightly outdated in terms of graphics drivers though. tl;dr for modern Intel iGPU or AMD Radeon: install FreeBSD 12-CURRENT, build graphics/drm-next-kmod, configure it to load as instructed by post-install message, for Radeons also set hw.syscons.disable=1 in /boot/loader.conf (temporary workaround for a bug), use the modesetting DDX (driver) in Xorg (or amdgpu for Radeons, similar but avoids diagonal screen tearing)
