If i set radeon drivers on xorg.conf i see a black screen starting X

Same if i do X -configure and then i use that conf file cause X sets radeon driver

I've installed xf86-video-ati

But on rc.conf only i've put kld_list="radeonkms"

aaron: .:VMS:. (Telegram): The default config (empty) should find the right driver. You can check /var/log/Xorg.0.log to see what it loaded.

aaron: .:VMS:. (Telegram): And if X starts, but programs can't access certain things, there's a very good chance /dev/dri needs an appropriate group set, or your user needs to be added to the graphics group.

Whats the best *BSD distro for beginners?
With gui installers there are only twoajor BSDs out there TrueOS and GhostBSD..

But OpenBSD also beginner friendly if all Hardwares are supporting

Other than trueos & ghostbsd, the installers are text-based?

Just doing wrong thing again and again won't magically correct it ?

Jay

Yup... so try those in VMs and see which one fits your requirement :)

First I thought it would be hard to partition but it's easy once you get hold of it :)

There are forks of bsd like dragonflybsd or somewhat

Google
.:VMS:.
02.08.2017
16:48:12
But the 3 original bsd aren't friendly to users so doesn't matter what u choose

Anyway as a desktop best choice is freebsd. I've tried net open and freebsd and i made freebsd my "workstation"

Not my workstation really cause i am a noob but i will let other distros and use freebsd as a main distro

aaron: .:VMS:. (Telegram): All of the "original" BSDs (NetBSD, OpenBSD, DragonflyBSD) are forks off FreeBSD, which is just a fork off BSD.

aaron: Dragonfly is only a year or so younger than OpenBSD.
