Maybe we could grant that Mac OS X is lighter than Windows 10/11. From what I've seen, the opposite is true, but whatever, let's just pretend it's a given fact. Still says nothing to how applications use the memory. If you have a database that needs 32GB of RAM to function properly, it's not going to halve its requirements because it's on Mac OS X. It's going to be basically identical between Windows, Linux, and Mac. Same system requirements.
