Yes because AV industry isn't so much about actually catching viruses these days, it's about selling signing keys for software to mark your software as safe

@jeditobe lmao, I just saw the HN thread where someone complains that he can't boot ReactOS on a VM... that guy does sound way too entitled. Works for me in QEMU and VirtualBox, therefore I can't reproduce either. :P

Sadly not unique. I've seen plenty examples of anti-evangelism because "I ran into $VAGUE_ERROR, therefore no one should use it!" Especially when it comes to open source stuff with issue trackers. They'll often refuse to actually describe the issue, which is a nice first step of solving it.
