just checked the latest build of reactos, havent had it running for a minute, primarily to check if rapps is still offering winamp 5.666, and it does also surprised me to hear the audio work immediately, great stuff!

winamp isnt drawing itself now, virtualbox 6.1.34 r150636, stock install

taskmgr cant kill winamp.exe either

"Close message sent to top-level windows of process with PID 944" is what i get, and the background bits of what should be the media library showing up is still there

in fact, it's trying to only paint the media library window, the others havent appeared yet

the solution to get it to work is to disable the media library entirely in the installer, only then will it truly work

great to see the skinned font (song scroller and bottom of the playlist editor) work!

modern skins seem to work better than last time i tested, though it's possible to get a BSOD (have had 0x000000BE (crashed in win32k.sys) and 0xC0000218 appear), 0xBE happened during skin switching (going from modern -> modern), though i cant get it to happen now, 0xC0000218 happened when i selected "Bento" to launch as the selected skin when winamp was done installing

just got one of those BSOD's

after changing the resolution, you cannot resize any of the modern skin windows

winamp modern and AVS are running surprisingly well, considering you can still get crashes

The thing abour Modern skins worths a ticket, I think.

considering i got a BSOD by moving the "Properties for Sound and Audio Devices" window, which got me 0xBE, yeah

i think if you just leave it alone and let it do it's thing, it's fine

That's what I love on MM. Annoyances are hand selected and banned carefully. Otherwise the uber flavor would go to waste and the happiness would be just half as great
