Several years ago by example in some Pentium IV motherboards installation hang if mouse was connected. If not connected all ok. Once installation finalized i could connect mouse without problems.

Yep. But grub could be reinstallated with a live cd and chroot. I did the question because I was not sure if I did the right decision.

So... you should somehow point either VBR bootsector or path to freeldr.sys binary to GRUB

Also a Gigabyte EX58 with i7 (8 cores) but reactos only runs natively in a revision 2 years ago, and take a long time to appear desktop....after it never runs in the nexts revisions.

@cc4rll0s vgal isn't in trouble anymore, there have been some preparations done to master, but I wouldn't get hopes up yet. I don't think it would get merged any time soon, and even then, not every necessary patch is in GH just yet.
