Yeah, I've just excluded some units, and that's it

So I'm asking for real hardware dumps 😉
From which year should be the machines to extract its info ? Should be from 2007?
Leonardo
Does not matter actually
So all machines with the mininum requirements to run ReactOS...

Hardware name / motherboard name and details

Hardware name / motherboard name and details
Could that information be obtained just with 'hardware autodetection' in ReactOS?
Mark
it just dumps output of GetSystemFirmwareTable
Stas'M

You probably mean Plug'n'Play device autodetection, but that's not it
Stas'M
The only good (documented) way to detect device (notebook) model name or motherboard name is to read SMBIOS table from RAM

Hmm, is there a way to dump the SMBios from Linux?
Stas'M
Actual command would be... dmidecode --dump-bin smbios.bin
Stas'M
But that depends on whether you have this utility in your distro

Stas'M
Ok, I'll doublecheck that tomorrow, already turned off my netbook
