Nope, the laptop's serial number.

In case of Dells it dumps the service tag.

@x86corez Do you want SMBios dumps from ROS or Windows?

Only with an hexadecimal editor if you previously know serial number, and other data. I think in some cases store win prod key in modern versions....

But SMBIOS area not neccesarialy content this data, it can retry this information from other bios data areas. I think there is an interrupt to return this info, almost in old bios, i dont know if UEFI system works as before.

SMBIOS contains board serial numbers by default, I'm not sure this can be disabled. But if you feel you don't want to share serial to the public, you can delete the message with file (it will be still available for me in admin log).

You can, but I already have dumps from these VMs: VirtualBox, VMware, Virtual PC, Hyper-V, Red Hat KVM, Xen HVM domU, Parallels, QEMU, PCem, and Bochs
