using integrated compilers is kind of cringe
Lazarus is integrated compiler.
BinaryByter
yes it is
BinaryByter
but pascal in general is kind of cringe and outdated
Talula
but pascal in general is kind of cringe and outdated
Pascal is true, but if Microsoft had anything close to Lazarus I would love to C# but I don’t like the idea of using .NET and Delphi failed when they integrated .NET, dumbest thing forced on human kind by Microsoft.
BinaryByter
mono
Talula
Xamrine also uses .NET and mono is a support for .NET on Linux, my problem is with .NET and nothing else this is why I think Windows 10 development with C# is good because it gets rid of .NET but still long way to go as only small number of people have switched to Windows 10.
Talula
net core is your way
"Your way"? What do you mean by that? .NET is GARBAGE!!! It doesn't work with older OS, it doesn't work with Older PC, it doesn't work with PC with small RAM, it slags on PC with lower specifications... it's JUNK and I have to install it seperately on PCs, versions have to match I can't write for .NET 4.5 and run it on .NET 4.1... Overall Windows 10 is getting rid of that in Windows 10 programming but it's far way off.
BinaryByter
i agree, .NET is garbage
Talula
Windows 10 is popular here and afaik all around the world. Only some enterprises still use 7, or is it different where you live?
Yeah it is popular on new PCs but many factories and medium scale industries use "old" PCs that do not support Windows 10... And I am from India...
olli
Even my 12 year ol PC does support Win 10..
