but still no sign of being usual code

and for the fact here i use UCRT Teminal for output because VScode bugged and says there is error

Libraries are hard and what has always discouraged many. You'd better read tutorial on them, make your own dummy lib and link with it - then you'll know the basics and there'll be less problems with understanding it There's pretty good explanation of linking with libs on Stack Overflow's "How to use libraries" question

Cmake way is too complicated tbh i tried reading it and it burst my head and Youtube tutorials are 3-4 year old and all know Vscode has change a lot since then

I am looking out to have a functionality similar to postgres trigram similarity and write the same in CPP using simd intrinsics for faster computation. the usecase is below I have a source file and master file where for every line in source file I need to iterate the entire file using a matching criteria here it will be city and run a trigram similarity (equivalent to Postgres similarity) for fields company name from source file and master file. Initial thoughts 1) leverage mmap for files reading 2) lverage co-routine for parallel processing 3) use trie data structure to process trigram based similarity fucntion 4) convert the file to utf-8 encoding and use simd to process and parse the files Need further brain-storming and improvements on the similarity function computation part

Trigram similarity is pretty slow in general. The data is not represented effectively for comparison. Have you though of making a bloomfilter from your trigrams and comparing similarity between 2 filters?

It will lack any form of frequency analysis, but it should get some things right at least
