I meant modding the game itself, assuming you answered yes to that, don't they have any documentation?
kλletaa
Is it single player only?
kλletaa
If not, it might need a constant internet connection
kλletaa
since muh drm
kλletaa
I see
kλletaa
If there's no official modding support you gotta hack the thing open and fuck around with it sadly
kλletaa
You will need a good amount of reverse engineering for that.
kλletaa
I suppose
kλletaa
In my opinion, they are two different skills, but knowing asm does help.
kλletaa
Take a look at Ghidra, it was written by the NSA and made open source recently, it's written in Java so it may be a bit slow though.
kλletaa
But it does work on any OS that can run a JVM
kλletaa
I don't really understand your question, can you clarify?
kλletaa
You can reverse on linux too.
kλletaa
linux itself is open source, but you can't really get the source of proprietary games such as the one you mentioned.

DIY +==========+ Language: Cpp Difficulty: Hard +===========+ Write hello world in C++ without using any standard library functions and no inline assembler. You may use the POSIX headers though!
progmatic99
iirc, you need asm too if you don't use stdlib
Idk I will research on this Don't know much

Could you recommend bunch of good samples for compiler features that coming in C++2x?

why the hell do all people recommend to learn C? I dont get it
Anonymous
Yes, they are very different C++ is a better choice for being a first language — it's easier, if you learn the right way. C lang is used in very specific places right now. C++ is more popular, than C. But knowing C is really good part of C++ engineer (I think, it is a necessary one), but isn't the first one
Lelouch
Its a core

It is not

totally on @unterumarmung site
Lelouch
All language made from this
Lelouch
Or follow this
Anonymous
So what?
Lelouch
If u know c then all languages are easy to learn
Stephanos
wtf..
Stephanos
if you know ANY language properly, other languages are easier to learn

Hello
Lelouch
Fo
Oleksandr
C++ contains all features from C, and even more. Who say, that C++ easier?)
Anonymous
After learning some algorithms and datastructures, How do I learn to make applications ?

Did you see Haskell? Is it easier to learn when you know C? No
Stephanos
John just try to build some :P
Stephanos
John, seriously. there is just one way to learn programming
Stephanos
making mistakes
Oleksandr
It's bullshit
Depends on If u know c-relative lang like Java, its more easier to lern C# or C++
Stephanos
the language is more expressive and precise its more strongly typed
Stephanos
there is no benefit in learning c first.
Lelouch
Depends on If u know c-relative lang like Java, its more easier to lern C# or C++
Yes these r bullshits talking without thinking and understanding
Anonymous
Well... C++ has C core, of course But...
Dealing with data structures and algorithms is much easier Syntax sugar makes C++ easier
Lelouch
Well the man with this question is not even here and we r arguing 😂😅
Oleksandr
Less features in language -> easier language
Stephanos
i think everyone should learn writing binary-code first, since all languages are derived from that
Anonymous
If you're a C++ engineer, and you write C-like code everyday makes you a bad engineer
