I think that you have to create them, and then mount them using the fstab with the correct parameters

And that's where I've made the most mistakes in the past. The cost of making an error outweights the benefits so I'm not even motivated to try this time

I`m installing gstreamer-plugins whatever I use. And no problems, all works perfectly.
