Exactly. That's what happens to me. The world may fall apart and I won't be bothered in the least.

I use it with Nouveau and works smoothly. But I don't know about the propietary drivers.

It wasnt made because it hurts, it was made because blue light before sleeping will reduce you being able to sleep
You're right, but it also prevents eye strain. At least mine hurt less when I'm tired and using my computer

On manjaro this is a default option. The change is drastic. First time i thought there were problems with my screen ahahaha
That's what I don't want. I need to see my designs and photos exactly as they are.

You can always disable it for a moment ;) but when just reading stuff, surfing the net or whatever... yeah, it's great

But that's not the screen's fault but yours. If you're tired go to sleep. That's the only way to prevent your eyes from hurting.

That's too much complication. And what for? When I feel sleepy I'll turn my laptop off and go to sleep. Or leave it on with music. Both work well for me dreaming.

Kohane, if you have blue light over a certain level 1 hour before you go to sleep you sleep worse and feel less awake and refreshened in the morning

Its not about color accuracy as you can have that over the day

but after 21:00 and/or 1 hour before bedtime reducing blue light is #1 priority to get your brain comfortable with sleeping
