Which the package manager? It's correct?
Manjaro is Arch based. It has its own repositories but uses Arch way and tools. Therefore, it has pacman and yaourt as package managers and installing stuff is really minimal. Also is a rolling release so you install it once and *theoretically* you won't reinstall again. Updating timing is different tough.

Yes. Because they have separated repositories and systems for official stuff and users stuff.
Pacman is for installing directly from Manjaro and Arch repos. Yaourt is for installing from any other source you'd like to add to your system.
