need help with ubuntu server 14.04
how to set up a dns server

Erisson
09.06.2017
18:32:46
Ubuntu uses dnsmasq as default DNS server
But you can install BIND if you want
So install BIND
For me, the best solution is BIND + Webmin
The webmin module is worthy practical

If you can avoid anything like webmin if you need any kind of security.
Try to use dns on a different machine, ideally a firewall like opnsense.
Which goes to great lengths to have a usable gui that does not interfere or control the system directly.

You can always use a mobile network carrier for data and then pay an SIP provider to give you a public number
Use a terrible theme with little contrast, find that wallpaper on deviantart and install conky and ask whoever made that for his theme
also install dash to dock
