Hi! I have a question: if I create two users in Fedora and install POS application under the first, can I use the same program under the second and leave changes to see them under the first then? Thank you

because fedora allways holds 2 previous versions of the kernel. in case something goes wrong, so you can fallback to an older version.

Tobias?

Fedora keeps the last 3 (current + 2 Arcived) Versions of a kernel + a rescue system

I don't get what you mean...
well. what I have to say. is that after I switched to gentoo, i started to dislike gnome even more, because of dependency on systemd.
when I started with Linux I liked gnome. but after some time it changed,
it's not as stable as I need.
it's huge and has many features I don't need, which are draining resources of my machine.
then I had a really bad old laptop, for example the torrent software were causing my whole system to get load level to 20+ and to respond to anything in like, 10 minutes.
after some time gnome itself became too heavy for it. and xfce was a rescue.
now I have a nice new machine running gentoo with openrc and xfce.
I get to the graphical login in 6 seconds after grub starts the boot sequence. that's how I like it.

Tobias?

6,7 seconds to graphical

Gnome doesn't consume that much tho
You are free to delete whatever app already installed too
I delete Firefox everytime I install gnome for example

this were not the apps.
this was all the graphical fancy things and the addons.
when I turned it all off and removed all the plugins it was quite the same as xfce, but unstable and huge, huge comparing to xfce.

Nvidia will only move their ass when its released.

Dhanesh

I was planning to move my ass and upgrade my F24 installation in a week. But F26 final release is not until the end of June.
Another question: Is this working?
http://negativo17.org/nvidia-driver-improvements-for-fedora-25/
Did anyone try to install the drivers on optimus machines?

Tobias?
21.05.2017

Or you could wait, F24 support ends when 26 starts after all.
