The problem is not how ti improve It, but since is a laptop that I bought for 35€ only ti improve my Linux skills, I don't want ti waste other money in it

I planner to upgrade the cpu with a p9700 (26w TDP instead of the 35w of the actual cpu)

Change the battery

Upgrade the amount of Memory to 8 Gb

And put an ssd

But the entire operation Will cost me over 120€

And the laptop is bulk and heavy

And the screen nave low brightness/contrast

I think it's not worth the effort

No idea about the exact distro, I would suspect they have used some arm board for that, so maybe no ubuntu there

also I think these are about as old as RPi, so I doubt there are RPis inside, as they were rare back when those machines were introduced

That sounds like a syncing issue. I had it when my conneciton isn't very stable or when my phone cuts the wifi to save battery.

The latter - well then that shouldnt happen - you can try to disable androids sleepmode for Telegram or disable syncinc via gcm

It was only with groups that I have muted notifications for.
