Has fedora been used for web servers in production? And btw what is about it performances?

It has servers version but it seems a bit weird to choose rpm.packages and rule out centOS from servers
I've never heard of sites runs on fedora server machine, at least the huge sites

Hello! Someone asked for my article about Fedora and Telegram. I'm afraid is very short, but here it is:

I`ve brought this up before, but I`m seriously thinking of getting one, and I have a coupla questions...
Can I install x86-64 distro builds on this laptop? This laptop refers to the Pinebook...

Why in the World would x86 run on it

Google

Tobias?

You need a arm build of $favedistro

Sid

12:21:31

Tobias?

12:22:14
But no, x86_64 or even x86 wont run, likely ever, and if it did it would have abysmal performance
Also if it could run x86apps intel would sue the fuck out of the cpu maker.

Sid

12:23:13
Is there something different I have to do to get a distro installed???

Tobias?
21.04.2017
12:23:37
But you should see arm as a chance to switch to a freeer, less energy using platform.

Most just look for a specific (uboot/syslinux) bootloader and at start load that

No, arm isnt really a standard for now, yes there will be many problems, Yes you dont get to use it as daily driver, yes most propreitary software is x86 only and will never run, yes many things like steam wont update anytime soon.

Why does nobody make a 14" laptop with like a minimal mainboard and 14nm core m or something and packs nothing but batteries in the chassis
I can live with 2x2ghz if it can last me 24 hours of telegram
Will Debian PIXEL ISOs work?
They are made for the raspi - as soon as the pine is out i'm sure a maintainer will make a build target for it sometime soon

I should make a kickstarter XD

I'd say, 1/9 even. ;)
For the unit.

once you start thinking about possible weak points, you realize that with computing you practically always lose, as the technology is so advanced that you can plant something in so many places it's easier to just give up and accept the fate
