You should have 4 buttons in the upper part of the window: Packages, Groups, History and Queue
Right?

yup

Eduard

Well, If you goes to groups, then you will see KDE
Inside there are 6 categories, and there is one called just "KDE"
That one should install the packages

I don't know, we are talking about installing it via yumex-dnf
And still, if I'm not wrogn you can erase marked packages for installation, to install only the ones you want
I mean, as you said it will install a lot of packages that you don't need

Hi! I just installer Plasma and it looks really promising, but from what I see I can't install new splashscreens. Is there any way to install QT themes and splashscreens? Or am I stuck with the ones that come by default?

Hi folks, I have a question.
I always use my Fedoras installs in the minimal and vanilla way when it comes about plugins, icons and themes.
Yesterday I installed some themes, and icons from the repo and noticed a radical increase in the ram use right after from the start. Is that normal?

Michael
18.04.2017
04:36:19
no

By radical I mean from 300MB to 500MB or so. BTW I'm using the arc dark theme on Mate and the Numix Circle icons.

This is why I don't manually install themes or icons sets, but the strange thing is that i used the repos.

Last metadata expiration check: 22:26:56 ago on Mon Apr 17 00:33:36 2017.
Installed Packages
Name : gtk-update-icon-cache
Arch : x86_64
Epoch : 0
Version : 3.22.11
Release : 1.fc25
Size : 58 k
Repo : @System
From repo : @commandline
Summary : Icon theme caching utility
URL : http://www.gtk.org
License : LGPLv2+
Description : GTK+ can use the cache files created by gtk-update-icon-cache to avoid a lot of
: system call and disk seek overhead when the application starts. Since the
: format of the cache files allows them to be mmap()ed shared between multiple
: applications, the overall memory consumption is reduced as well.
