What draws you guys to Fedora?
Community and capacity of collaboration.

No, because that would require a middleman seeing all your Traffic like Teamviewer or logmein.
Not necessarily - in theory it would be possible to provide an end-to-end encryption

And you depending to trust the Provider or Service. But i am not aware of such Services exactly because of the problems it brings.

You can however use VPN to get into the internal Network and then operate from there

Erisson

14:46:23
If you want to try SSH tunnel you can do it by " ssh -L localport:dest_host:port user@middlehost

Yeah, unless I've got an end-to-end encrypthon when unless the fingerprint changes, you're pretty much safe

If you want to try SSH tunnel you can do it by " ssh -L localport:dest_host:port user@middlehost
wanted to avoid it, as it requires me to have an SSH server pointing to an external world, but I guess I will have to have something pointing outwards

If you want nothing pointing back ssh allows to have the client it connects to open ports via the ssh it connects

Try hamachi

It's free

So you can let it connect to somewhere and then use that to tunnel a port on that machine to the Machine making the ssh connection

It's free
Is it open Source? Can i trust the Code? Can i trust the Maker to not leak my whole Internal network to _someone_?

Tobias?

Point 2 and 3 can not be satisfied then

I'm sorry about that

Any point of the VPN have public IP?

Fixed

If yes, You can do it by OpenVPN

The US Navy is one of Microsoft's biggest customers keeping XP alive. :P I remember reading about the costs to pay Microsoft to maintain XP being in the billions
Wouldn't be wiser to install something else, like some Linux tweaked for the case? Many other countries' militaries do that.

The Russians had a fairly effective system for that eventual case. It was called "The Dead's Hand".

No idea TBH
It was some sort of automattic system that would be triggered in case Moscow got destroyed (with the Soviet leaders in it). I don't remember the exact details but it was a system that would bomb all the main US cities. So even if nobody was left to command the enemy was set to be destroyed.
