i'm using russian locale, so some translations may not be 100% equal, but i'll try to explain. 1) click on app icon in the top left corner of the window 2) additional settings (or extra?) menu -> special setting for application 3) switch to last tab and try to experiment with opacity parameters Another way to open this menu is System settings -> Window dispatcher -> Special window settings, but then you'll have to type in an application title yourself. In the end, you will add custom rule for KWin (KDE window manager) , but i can't figure, how you've got transparent borders by default in the first place.
