Use either Visual Studio 2015, WDK 7.1 (Windows Driver Kit) or MinGW and then invoke the .sln, wdk_build.cmd or configure/make respectively.

i added fedora-chromium-stable repository that is maintained by Tom 'spot' Callaway (https://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/spot/chromium/) and seems like i'm now suffering from this bug: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=608205 after i've updated other packages

Since bundled libraries are the rule now, I still don't know why chromium isn't on the official repos.
Firefox contains lots of bundled libraries.

tarball should have .configure file
configure/make/make install
(which is not really good way, checkinstall > make install. even better is to learn how to pack compiled source code to .rpm)

Always, always, if the packages you want to install is on the repos use it.
Unless you want a very fresh bleeding edge up to date version.
But the consequences might be this, not been able to remove in a easy, clean and secure way the packages, that's why repos and package managers exist for.
