Infact the only annoyance I have with Fedora is RPMs. Not the system, the availability. If you can't find an RPM file and what you want isn't in the Fedora repo or an RPM fusion, you're pretty much reduced to compiling from source.

I think this is rather a problem related to packagers. Many companies think Linux==Ubuntu so they only build packages for Ubuntu.

surely that would require some degree of organisation on my part, to maintain those packages as and when new versions of whatever it is come out. I'm a man child who is so disorganised I have to spend 16 hours a day perpetually catching up on work I failed to get out of the way before hand :P

Happens to me too. But I don't know if it's the normal behaviour, I never use the close button.

Yeah, I mean, you HAVE TO save in xfc (I think that's the extension). But libreoffice do that too

I do use it for editing images, fixing photographs, etc. And you have to use the native format yes or yes. Or click on "Export as" and then it will ask again if you want to save the unsaved work (that is already saved but not in the native format) and then it closes. Very annoying.
