i didnt suffer any crash uptill now but maybe because my usage wasnt intense

There are two reasons.

1. Debian deleted my packages.

2. playing Duke Nukem Forever (dnf) in terminal is better than some ancient black bagick apt-get.

i actually sumbled upon fedora when i started with qubes

i still use debian for everything else

right now i'm in one of my tails nodes which happens to be based on debian, all my servers are debian too

i would reccomend fedora as the "proper" system for anyone, though

with the exception of people new to linux, which i would suggest the currently hyped distro, right now it would be linux mint

it seems that over time people get over the fallacy of "i want something that just works with my 3d and wifi card" and start to comprehend the basics

debian is the most stable one, that's why it's suitable for servers, isn't it?

after all those years, i think the proper word would be "conservative", not "stable"

but that's not the reason why i use it in servers

it's because it's the most used system in servers, and therefore there are many people contributing to security updates and testing a lot

the "stability" comes from the decisions the core team makes

but even arch linux can be considered stable i guess
