Hi, good morning! Welcome here.

Cristobo
27.12.2016
10:04:10

norj
27.12.2016
10:04:19
dnf

Google

Kohane
27.12.2016

norj

Nick
27.12.2016
10:05:36
dnf is the next generation version of the yum
so dnf, I guess

Cristobo
27.12.2016
10:05:39
what a pity that yum is the best and nobody supports it

Kohane
27.12.2016
10:06:19
Why do you think is better?

norj
27.12.2016
10:06:27
yum bit slow
idk how to yum anymore

Kohane
27.12.2016
10:07:55
I was asking to @Zelopec because he said YUM is better. I wanna know why

Cristobo
27.12.2016
10:07:59
I prefer yum because of the yum.conf, dnf has not yum.conf

Kohane
27.12.2016
10:08:14
Just that?

Cristobo
27.12.2016
10:09:57
I used that file a lot

norj
27.12.2016
10:10:39
never played with the conf. what's in there?
proxy setting?

Nick
27.12.2016
10:11:00
dnf is better...

norj
27.12.2016
10:12:04
Files
Cache Files
/var/cache/dnf
Main Configuration File
/etc/dnf/dnf.conf
Repository
/etc/yum.repos.d/

Cristobo
27.12.2016
10:12:08
yes, I had a great proxy with yum
but now I can not use the internet because of dnf

norj
27.12.2016
10:12:27
they updated it. now with dnf.conf

hmm, Why?
Because you must install packages only from repositories. Never use .run files or make install to install packages on Fedora.
