No. It's been 800x600 since I first installed Fedora 25 on this very old netbook.
lately had the same issue with nvidia gtx 970. had to install proprietary driver in order to get normal resolution

this was hard. because non of the instructions worked for me completely. had to figure out how to install this ? myself

Neither dnf install nor YUM installer seem to make it work. Apparently there's some dependencies missing or something like that. There must be a wiki or anything similar which can provide us with the neccessary files to install Chrome successfully on Fedora 25.
I actually installed it last week for a relative with no problems at all :) rpm -ivh RPM_FILE at first it complained about some missing dependency, which I installed and then everything went well :)

Guys, Fedora on my laptop on hdd boots in about a 1 minute. I know that it's normal speed, but is there any real way to make fedora boot faster without switching to SSD? Actually I am planning to do replacement

turn off unneeded services and startup programs, make it boot directly to Fedora without waiting at the select menu on boot, use a lightweight DE etc

I guess only turning off services can help me. But it doesn't... Docker, Bluetooth, CUPS etc is off. It saves about 2 seconds...

IMO, boot and turn off time doesnt have any impact on your work if you use your laptop for a long period of time

sure, looks awesome when it boots in <10 sec, but I wouldn't really care

Why boot? What I really mean is why turn it off? When I am working mobile I just close the lid of my laptop and made sure to recharge it time to time. I have been some times that I go a week without turning off the laptop.

GNOME 3 is the best
Been really happy with XFCE, recently switched to Cinnamon, rock solid and fast + customizable, GNOME was not intuitive enough for me

There is some kind of bug that makes my cry! When I open it after suspend, it behaves like there was no suspension for about 2-3 second. Then screen turns off and I should unlock it...

Usually when you open the lid it request password. It is for security reasons, in case somebody else open your laptop. The delay into the login windows may be a lot of things.

Yes, but it answers password after I press space/enter after screen turns off. Before that it's acts like there was no suspension! :c

Umm, are you aware of what was broken?

MapQuest denied access to tiles. That meant that GNOME Maps was unable to download any map data.

Kohane
26.12.2016
16:47:22
Yes, and now it shows a map like that, but when I want to see it closer, it shows... well, no detail.

So it still not working, not loading data.

Lesik
26.12.2016
16:47:50
What does it show then? I can see my city in full detail.

Also, you're apparently talking about a different bug than what was affecting GNOME Maps (that MapQuest thing) that we're talking about.

The fix for that has even been backported to GNOME 3.14 and landed in Debian stable. Good job!
