All this talk of NVIDIA. Why not simply rid oneself of the horrid cards & stick with Intel's CPU based graphics?

Because Nvidia is a better card. If you're just a programmer, fine. But if you do anything related to video/design/arts you want the best. And Intel is not the best. I used them both, I can tell the difference.

Hello! Google couldn't help me, so maybe someone here can. I have a fresh install of fedora 25 without nvidia drivers, but by default my session loads with X11, not Wayland. In login screen I've touched nothing, so it's just Gnome, not gnome on xorg

But if I log out from first session I can't log in again in "Gnome" session it immediately throws me back on log in screen, I can only log in "Gnome on Xorg" session

Agreed 100℅. I've recently changed Mint for Fedora cinnamon. More stable Fedora and better looking.

People think the retarded Update Policy of Mint makes it more stable and that the kernels ubuntu puts out is more tested as they come later

Ignoring that that doesnt happen - Not updating the Kernel is retarded and Ubuntu likely does _less_ testing in those months
