Well, regarding my troubles with F25. I've tried boot from live USB. And it works well. Also new GPU switching gnome additions work from live USB. It looks like bumblebee configuration from the F24 conflicts with the new GPU switching way.

I was under impression that they work on Xorg. Well, apparently not as I can see after the installation. I wonder how bumblebee works with the new switching. I hope that reinstalling was the right thing to do and everything will be ok now.

I had similar thoughts.. Rather I was planning to upgrade after I finish my project... F24 won't reach EOL till then

Today as able to re-use the encrypted partition on my laptop that served for about 1½ year for fc22 and fc23.

The encrypted partition has a Logical Volume group in it that contains /, /home and swap.

Marking all of this to be reused was so easy and intuitive. Only required the passphrase for dencrypt the partition to get access to the old VG, the only one logical volume I did not wipe was /home.
