Linux is just a kernel. It supports 100% hardware.
Before the kernel < 4 I had a hard time to run Linux on a Intel skylake , the only way I found was changing the grub file . After this experience I think Linux can run any hardware the problem is the time you need to spend to get it done

Now imagine that no one and no here you can find this kind of information, it took me weeks to figure out that I have to turn hard power mode of on a grub file to run Linux with the Intel skylake
