The only issue I have had so far has been that the wifi and bluetooth devices were set always on during boot despite been set a of. tlp was causing this, a minor edit to the configs files fixed this issue.

Theres is plenty of people in here that might have been in the same situation as you that might help you if they recall where they saw the answer somewhere else, or if they have a vague idea they will know how to google it in order to find it... in case it is not bookmarked ?

like no WiFi after kernel update broadcom akmods --force modprobe wl I was googling this so much. times. now I remembered the solution but lately. for some reason. my akmods package was uninstalled and I had no Internet and I had no Internet to download and install it that was a pain

I had to deconstruct my desktopPc and reconstruct it on the floor in other room - near router. connect over lan and move after the akmods installation back again into my room

I usually do this but if there are 500 packages I'm too lazy to look all over them. I do it quickly. and it seems. I've over seen this somewhere moreover. I couldn't even be awaiting, that akmods would be uninstalled for any reason. this may also be a point to over see it

Folks, I have a client who participated in a LA TV series from Bravo TV. He wants to download the episode and upload it to his YouTube. The channel said they don't mind but they won't help. The problem is that this particular TV channel takes a lot of effort to avoid people to download their stuff. Even watching it is hard. So... why would you suggest to download the thing? I can use Firefox, Opera or Chromium. And I'm on Workstation 24. Thank you very much.

it has support for many hosting platforms, and it's easy to use, so it's better to try it first before doing anything more ambitious - if it's a custom solution it probably won't work, but it's better to check it ;)

as I understand, you can already watch it using Chromium or Firefox, I would try to check the developer tools network tab and see if the video file is visible there

No, I can't watch it because they ask you to sign with your TV provider (US) to be able to watch the episodes.

I am not sure then if it's possible to get it if you don't have an access to it

The thing is that my client is Lucky Lehrer and he plays in those episodes. He wants to share them with his fans but is having a hard time to do so.

So he asked me, and he pays me for it, to find a way to download the episodes so he can upload them to his websites and accounts.
