On Fedora 22, LXDE spin, you had to set up a shortcut for this.

Yeah, you're right. So Fedora LXDE spin still needs a screenshot tool to be able to take screenshots. I've instructed him to install the XFCE screenshooter. Problem solved.

I can always just run it under a UID that has been network-blocked using iptables, and run it with torsocks to get it working with Tor

I take privacy pretty seriously, and I do enjoy making attribution of my messages by any party out there difficult and more expensive :D
