krita/gimp/inkscape is okey too but I'm pretty sure designers need more config and stuff because they're not using intel at all
I'm not gonna say %100 percent "they using nvidia/ati" but mostly that's the case
If you doing "render" you need it. or If you need some cuda config you still gonna need binary too
so we can't avoid it

I've used 25 Alpha in a VM for a few days, didn't even notice it was on Wayland until I went to the system settings. Running smooth.

Intel is the best m8
Considering they are largest contributor to kernel , there can't be another winner

O
23.09.2016
12:19:48
so you said intel is nice because It's working and contribute kernel still doesn't mean It's the best* If you check value(s) and compare with other card. you simply gonna lost because there are better cards which is doing more then "intel gpu does"
simply we can't just say that's best* this just end of user comment.

I am not buying anything but Intel. Yes, AMD has gotten better nowadays but it's not the same as with Intel. Intel has always worked great. They 01.org center focuses on open source solutions. They are kinda allies.

Yes, indeed. I've been fairly lucky
Also my laptop isn't a recent model, so they surely had a lot of time to test and write drivers.

I'm annoyed. Why does dnf need an internet connection to do localinstall? ?
There's no need to update the repo cache. I'm installing a local file.
dnf -C skips the repo update. Very annoying, how is this not default behaviour when dnf realizes it can't connect to the internet?

dnf could first check whether all dependencies in the .rpm are already met, and if not, then consult the internet.
Instead it falls back to the internet, always.
