Alright now that it says it's a success, is there something else that I should execute? Before I disconnect the Ethernet cable?

It should work even after rebooting

@pionen

Alright it works even with reboot. Thanks!:)

You don't need to build it from sources. Install prolog from official Fedora's repositories.

I figured!?
With the next kernel upgrade you will need to install the corresponding kernel-devel and kernel-header to the new kernel version. Repeat the process. Maybe you will need to remove the old module before make installing the new one.

git clone http://github.com/lwfinger/rtlwifi_new.git cd rtlwifi_new make sudo modprobe -rv module_name sudo make install sudo modprobe -v module_name

git clone http://github.com/lwfinger/rtlwifi_new.git cd rtlwifi_new make sudo modprobe -rv module_name sudo make install sudo modprobe -v module_name

VIM is a text editor not an IDE. What language are you using? You have Geany in repositories that is very nice

I use Pluma for text

And still deciding what to do with the others when it comes to code.

There's not too much difference, honestly. It's a fork.

I use PyCharm and sublim text
Sublime Text is proprietary software.

Interesting that after I spent 15 minutes showing you how quickly you can edit files with vim, you support such a senseless view as "vim is for grandparents". How would grandparents keep up with the speed of editing files in vim? Also, do I look like a grandparent?

Yes, but has a better interface.
That is true, it was forked before GNOME decided to redesign all its software (for the worst).

Kohane

Okay, okay, wasn't a fortunate expression

Yes, looks too complicated for someone who is starting. And I wonder if the interface appearance can be changed. Is it possible L?

Lesik
18.09.2016
14:38:00
If you want a toolbar with buttons there's gvim.

Not sure what else you could mean with interface...it's a text editor. Text editors usually don't have much of an interface. And this one is running in the terminal.
