And thats just a new feature that the linux kernels support and either beta doesnt have the microcode updates for it yet or some cpus dont support it.

If you only make calls then a smartphone is a waste on all levels.

If you want a development phone go for a cheap one as that will make sure your users also get that performance at minimum.

And especially for development you might want to get a lineageos phone as it will get updates far far beyond its manufacturer intended.

ssh open source even, vnc not so much but ... dont use vnc on servers, ever.

it's not really convenient, but it's also not like you need a virtual machine of some sort to do it

that way or another, you can beat android into submission so it acts like a computer, but it's not really enjoyable
