You can enable RussianFedora free repository and install akmod-rtl8812au package from it: sudo dnf install gcc kernel-devel kernel-headers akmod-rtl8812au

So what kind of problems is Fedora's problem?
He is right on that one tough. Gparted was coded when it was allowed to be retarded as coder and thus gparted draws its ui as root. That is not only discouraged but outright forbidden in xwayland/wayland. Software like gnome-disks for example draw the ui as user and call adminstrative functions trough a backend, making the whole process much more safe.

Oh and the result: gnome disks in 27/28 will feature all the fancies of gparted like partition resizing and moving while it supports creating, deleting and formatting already.

There is no group for fedocoin that i am aware of

Oh if Gnome Disks would be good enough I'll use it
Yes, it is not yet in 26. But as of right now you can switch when logging in to gnome on x - edit things with gparted and switch back when done.

If you want to risk it you still can - fedora did not take the option away. But by denying it by default they finally can enforce safer programming guidelines.

I do so. In 26 I still prefer xorg.
I hope not for general usage tough.

xorg should only be used: if you have an nvidia if you need some root fallback for retardedly written programs

You're right. I still need to use some old programs that written in unsafe style. But as I mentioned before, my experience with wayland on 24 was much better.

Mine has become better from 25 > 26. 4 tearingfree screens drawn by amdgpu and no problems overall. Not even lags or slowdowns.

Or if you want reliable copy/paste
I am a devop over the day and i do plenty copypaste going so far as to posting into 6 tilix tiles at the same time from gedit, chromium, intellij and more. Not a single problem.

The only problems i ever had with copypaste was when the ctrl key on my first laptop started working only half the time

Unless you have an nvidia you should have the same experience.

Or an amd so old it can not use amdgpu

Amazing, you're extremely lucky then
Not really. I'd suggest checking for other possible sources of malfunction because wayland+gnome are the most unlikely source for it.

I have AMD processor with built in graphic chip, so...
lspci -vvv, scroll trough to see "VGA compatible" something and look at the driver its using.

if it is "amdgpu" - lucky if it is "radeon" - whelp

What else could it be? I mean, I'm looking for solutions and asking for help. I've tried to disable the clipboard manager to no avail. This keeps on happening from time to time in a way I'm unable to reproduce on purporse. I honestly have no clue about the possible cause.

Lesson of the day: opinions are subjective. Shock horror, pictures at 11. I like the Ubuntu look, myself. I even liked the old all-brown look for their early versions with GNOME 2. It was warm, made me think of earth and life and bark and wood and chocolate, living things that smell good or taste good. A welcome change from the usual software world of cold blues and greys with all the warmth and humanity of an alien rectal probe. :-)
