thats expected ! freebsd most of the time will give you kind of the features you will need in all its packages

in my case I need some stuff in asterisk and in other packages that are not present in the default package build so I need to do sources from ports

but my stuff might be specific

option A: spawn Xorg server in jail, for that you need video drivers option B: forward X over tcp socket to xorg server on host system

Also i want ssh for my jail but does not run. If i run # service sshd start it will starting sshd but after if i #service sshd status it will output sshd is not running...🙄

Can pkg manager be downgraded if it causes trouble?

i did #pkg update -f #pkg upgrade #pkg autoremove -y #pkg clean -a and now looks like does work properly.

Well, i3 is already available on FreeBSD. Not quite fluent with configuration, but I guess you can just go along and try whether it would work for you. And bash is also available, it's rather a question about what are you doing with bash, if you are using something Linux specific it might fail.

I didn't find the plugins I needed in Linux and wrote them myself.

Well, you have to choose how you will use FreeBSD. Linuxes have different distros, you can treat FreeBSD as a generic distro, or dig deeper and use it as your custom distro.

And WiFI is still a little bit outdated.

In our case "older versions" might be still supported, as current codebase still supports running binaries built decades ago.
