For FreeBSD repo, you can take a look at https://cgit.freebsd.org/

Also, for the Ethernet driver, depends on which hardware are you using
Me
04:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Device 2600 (rev 21) Subsystem: Acer Incorporated [ALI] Device 151f Kernel driver in use: r8169 Kernel modules: r8169
Me

https://www.freebsd.org/releases/13.0R/hardware/#support Some newer devices won't have support yet. Maybe you can try with the CURRENT version of FreeBSD, which is 14.0 as of now

great, thanks

Using the bsd installer and selecting the shell method in the partition step can be useful? I have little knowledge on this case scenario, maybe someone can give us a hint

if your home partition is apart of others, then just simply mount your home partition and re-partition the root.

https://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-questions/2013-January/248002.html see this for a hint
Pouria
I do not think so.

Nope. I do not want this. I want to format root(/) partition, but not /usr for example.
Anonymous
why do you want to format /
Pouria

I have removed many libraries. And I cannot recover them.

pkg check -d -a ??
Yes. I know. But I want to install 13-RELEASE.

I think i would do an update & upgrade to stable, then change repos to release. in case it dies i would back up to cloud or somewhere.

your're own your own
ɴꙩᴍᴀᴅ
How about copying the system manually?
ɴꙩᴍᴀᴅ
I've read somewhere about it, copying the src on /tmp/ and mounting the partitions temporarily, then copying them manually over the disk path or so (I have to find the link to that, I'm afk now)

Use the pciconf(8) command and /var/run/dmesg.boot file to know your device is detected or not.
