Hi guys I have a big problem.
I have a python script that reads some .env variables from cshrc, if I launch the program normally it reads them and everything is ok. But if I launch the python script from a rc.d service, they are not read.
Can you help me?
ɴꙩᴍᴀᴅ
Hey @Vincent95 do you have some logs or can you show how you launch the script from the rc.d service?
Vincenzo
Carl
1 - it could be you are launching the service before your env set this variables ... 2 - it could be this variables are settled for the user env and the service is lanched for root env ... 3 - it could be you need to declare PATH .... i sugest you can include in your script an echo command with this variables printng them in a /tmp/file ... and you will see more clearly what you need to do

Hey guys, this message seems t work. https://freebsd-questions.freebsd.narkive.com/8LHxOkX0/dualboot-and-zfs#post13
Jackie
Maybe FreeBSD wiki here should change: https://wiki.freebsd.org/RootOnZFS/ZFSBootSlice
Hardcode
this page was written back in the time when bsdinstall was incapable of installing FreeBSD root on zfs
Hardcode
its outdated like for 10 years
Jackie
So I am suggesting to modify the wiki page, which is much easier to find and hopefully will help others.

Yes, but also it's changed a lot

Cool! A friend of mine saw a post from you on Quora about it, and we wonder if there is a repo somewhere, or a demo to look at the project.
Do you have any of that available?

You'll need at least one efi system partition on one disk somewhere to be able to boot, unless you use bios instead of UEFI
