How about PVS-Studio?

Yeah it is a nice way to fix some bugs too

I have PVS-Studio installed

But Coverity mixes its indicarions with the code and points directly how the bug appears

I fixed tons of issues with PVS but Coverity is probably the best tool imho for now

Anyone here with Visual Studio installed should give PVS a try over the ReactOS Visual Studio solution

Some of the bugs it founds: if with semicolons , buffer overflows, etc...pretty easy to fix for anyone with basic coding skills

We have 3 pvs studio reports opened in jira, somebody have to care about it

The main problems are:

1) a lot of the bugs are not in pur code but in Wine

(So we cant do anything)

2) a lot are in Wine but after a sync they dissapears

3) others are in 3rd party code (so we cant handle them, we are not experts there)

4) They are false positives

5)They are real bugs in our own code <--- I handle them and most of the fixes were commited
