Even that isn't exactly hard, but if the distro is the right one for you depends on too many things. I've found NixOS to be the better option for me in the end. Back then, Arch used to have a curses installer even. Long before they switched to systemd. I used to love Arch back then.

Yes but when I started to use linux (under ubuntu), then many times the upgrade to the newer version failed.. It's the reason now I prefer rolling release
