I'm buying it from my local computer store and I want to support the guys :)
They will also maintain it if I have a hardware problem so it's k 👍

Geld [0/4๐] ๐ต๐ธ ุชุญูุง ููุณุทูู
I wanted to make a mirror only for the basic packages yk. To get this thing going. Like xorg, plasma and xfce. These things are relatively heavy and that's what's slow.

Check out "sko"s answer.
He tells how to simply use nginx to do a repo mirror

the trick is to take longer and do a worse job by "saving time" and starting with some existing code

Idk. I recently wanted to quickly send 2-3 files to my VPS, and I used nc listening, and sent the file by nc.
I just waited like 20 seconds and then killed the process lul.

Speaking of AMD...

<- Long term thinkpad user. Carbon X1 wtth a high spec and the (admittedly expensive) accidental damage, all the trimmings will last you 3 years and end up on a shelf in perfect working order because you wanted a new one. It's honestly the most cost effective way, I'm not somebody who spends money, i hate it.
Anonymous
But I also used to love the Windows surface, and the Dell XPS 14" is a really attractive bit of kit. I don't need anything super high end (Thinkpad) and actually tend toward the other extreme, brands like Chuwi and the like
Anonymous
anyway, does anybody have any recommendations?
Anonymous
requirements: 14" or smaller, laptop/2in1 that you'd buy again.
