Never used a DVD but if the ISO is full and not a netinstall ISO, then yes

Oh, maybe I didn't understand correctly. Ports come with the ISO, and being a full iso it comes with source for ports. You cannot get latest updates but cd/ into the desired port and running make should work

Distfiles are included in ports/distfiles Please, try to build the charybdis port in your machine before keeping asking the same that much times. For the rest of users in the group is a bit annoying to have notifications with the same message over and over. Once you try it, you can report any errors you may have
