Aight, your network is working fine. May be a pkg misconfig, or server side issue
Kaan deyil🤨🤨🤨

Hi guys, how can i know my CPU supports EPT(Extended Page Table)?
i want to use bhyve but i got vm_create: Device not configured .
and i see in the wiki What will i see if EPT is disabled in BIOS?
and answer is vm_create: Device not configured .
Pouria
i can not found information in the Intel's website.
Krond
less /var/run/dmesg.boot shows kernel boot messages, all CPU specs are there on the first page.
Pouria
Krond
For example, mine is:
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250 Processor (3000.06-MHz K8-class CPU)
Origin="AuthenticAMD" Id=0x100f63 Family=0x10 Model=0x6 Stepping=3
Features=0x178bfbff<FPU,VME,DE,PSE,TSC,MSR,PAE,MCE,CX8,APIC,SEP,MTRR,PGE,MCA,CMOV,PAT,PSE36,CLFLUSH,MMX,FXSR,SSE,SSE2,HTT>
Features2=0x802009<SSE3,MON,CX16,POPCNT>
AMD Features=0xee500800<SYSCALL,NX,MMX+,FFXSR,Page1GB,RDTSCP,LM,3DNow!+,3DNow!>
AMD Features2=0x837ff<LAHF,CMP,SVM,ExtAPIC,CR8,ABM,SSE4A,MAS,Prefetch,OSVW,IBS,SKINIT,WDT,NodeId>
SVM: NP,NRIP,NAsids=64
TSC: P-state invariant
Krond
So I have SVM support, with Nested Pages and etc.

Chapter 22. Virtualization
https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/handbook/virtualization/#virtualization-host-bhyve
Andriy
what should i find in this fiel?
The easiest way to tell if a processor supports bhyve is to run dmesg or look in /var/run/dmesg.boot for the POPCNT processor feature flag on the Features2 line for AMD® processors or EPT and UG on the VT-x line for Intel® processors.
Pouria
CPU: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5700 @ 3.00GHz (3000.92-MHz K8-class CPU)

AMD Features=0x20100800<SYSCALL,NX,LM>
AMD Features2=0x1<LAHF>
VT-x: HLT,PAUSE

Pouria
is this ?
Features2=0xc00e3bd<SSE3,DTES64,MON,DS_CPL,VMX,EST,TM2,SSSE3,CX16,xTPR,PDCM,XSAVE,OSXSAVE>
Krond
Now when thought I posted old CPU specs... This CPU is also ancient.
Krond
VT-x: HLT,PAUSE
Krond
Everything related to virtualization. It only haz basic support, no directed I/O, no Trusted Execution...
Pouria
Krond
Yeah.
Pouria
Yeah.
Thanks man.
and Thank you Andrey .

George Neville-Neil, great speaker (:
I agree. Not Bryan Cantrill level, but good. I just watched this on the Microsoft Research-channel(!):

Microsoft research yt channel, despite the first name, has suprisingly rich content. Specially videos from a decade and older
