Hi, does someone know what the best practice would be to copy a completed torrent, once it's finished downloading to my laptop automatically but keep seeding it? Theoretically it would be possible to somehow copy it over scp or rsync I guess The only problem is that my laptop is not always running but mostly in standby ... Does anyone have a solution for this problem ?

What does 'automatically' mean, here? Should the DL-2-Laptop start automatically begin, when the torrent is downloaded on your other machine, or do you want to 'keep the torrent seeding', although your laptop goes automatically into standby?

So you are looking for a functionality in a torrent-client to determine a successful DL and giving you the opportunity to start a command automatically

try uncommenting or adding following lines to /boot/loader.conf mmc_load="YES" mmcsd_load="YES" sdhci_load="YES" then reboot and look at the output of this command : kldstat -v | grep mmc
