I did frankestein it up a bit. Like installing NomadBSD to disk and then upgrading to -CURRENT, but optimistically thought this would be a nice opportunity to learn.

Maybe a reinstall from scratch is in order... To -STABLE.

Don't use fury BSD.. just use Freebsd... I had a lot of issues with Fbsd... They all disappear using freebsd

I was checking it out locally but they where using BBC:micro. I think they also do Arduino/rPi. A group that organised coding for kids (Lær kidsa koding/Teach the kids to code) - it's not official curriculum.

Like textbooks of any kind. No matter, if used or new.... Generally, science and technical textbooks from 60s-70s era are the best... with the exception of computing books. There you need more luck/effort to find those, which are suitable for your own thinking and learning curve. Therefore... the more you possess, the better ...😊
