Is it about web development? If so - any kinds of server-side applications transfering and processing data from one place to another. If you need a script for something not perfomance-critical you can use Python for it. Make a backup, upload files from a directory to a remote storage, parse CSV-file and put in a database etc.

Допустим есть массив, в котором есть значения, я по данным из этого массива рисую табличку. Данные массива динамически изменяются, и я не могу понять на какой event нужно вешать перерисовку экрана?

а то он перерисовывается только когда я меняю размер окна(ну поянтно почему) или на события, где я говорю прерисовать
